More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snowline appeared to be about 8,800'.  Found up to 3.5cm (1.5") of new snow at treeline.  Slighty moist snow surfaces lower elevations.  In the alpine, new snow has already been quite wind affected with small, fresh drifts and 4F+ surface slabs observed on lee aspects at ridgeline.  Deepest deposits were up to 12 cm (4.5") thick.  These areas showed minor cracking.  Did not observe any new avalanches.  Test pit was on a NE aspect, 9423'.  CT showed failures in the upper snowpack but were unable to get propagation on ECT.  Also observed some slight density changes in the new snow but did not find any clean shears with shovel tilt tests.
