Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Layers are sintering moderately well. 26cm deep in the pack exists a layer of rounding surface hoar & rounding facets which was the leakest interface. It took hard-force to initiate fracture with Q3 qualities. Within the newer wind pack layer, that was the most recent precip from last week, was found a density change. This density change was reactive to tests & slope cuts in isolated areas with planar fracture characteristics. Surface snow was melting/ sublimating. Wind scalloped ridgelines had small surface hoar & facets in troughs on the exposed snow. Pretty good snowboarding in the shade of Northern aspects mid-day.
